Asia Pacific Irish Business Forum 2026 to Bring Irish and
Regional Business Leaders to Hong Kong This November
Two-day forum will create new opportunities for partnership, trade and investment between Ireland, Hong Kong and markets across Asia

Thursday, 8 October 2026 — The Irish Chamber of Commerce of Hong Kong will host the Asia Pacific Irish Business Forum 2026 on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 November 2026, at the Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong. Covering eight key sectors, the forum will connect Irish and Asia-based companies seeking to enter new markets, find partners, expand distribution, trade and invest.
Bringing together senior government officials from Hong Kong and Ireland, chambers of commerce from Ireland, business leaders, trade bodies and investors, the Asia Pacific Irish Business Forum 2026 aims to strengthen commercial ties between Ireland, Hong Kong, and wider Asia Pacific markets while fostering trusted partnerships and opening new avenues for growth.
The commercial relationship already has significant foundations. Ireland exports approximately US$630.69 million in goods to Hong Kong each year, led by packaged medical products, electronics and technical tools. Across Asia, Ireland exports €23.8 billion in physical products and imports €30.7 billion, with Chinese Mainland its largest overall trading partner in the region*.
“The Asia Pacific Irish Business Forum 2026 is designed to build relationships that lead to tangible business opportunities across Ireland and the Asia Pacific region,” said Padraig Seif, President of the Irish Chamber of Commerce of Hong Kong. “Hong Kong offers Irish companies a sophisticated, well-connected platform for developing regional relationships, while Irish businesses bring trusted expertise, high-value innovation and premium products to some of Asia’s most important growth markets.”
Across two days of keynotes, presentations, workshops, panel discussions and structured networking, sessions will examine both the opportunities and practical considerations involved in entering and scaling across regional markets; including navigating local business realities, building trusted partnerships and identifying growth opportunities.
Programme and Sector Focus
The programme will cover eight areas: Agri-Foods, Aviation, Education, Finance, Pharma, Tech/AI, Tourism, and Regional Connectivity and Collaboration. An exciting line-up of speakers, partner organisations and sponsors is already taking shape, and the Chamber welcomes expressions of interest from prospective speakers.
Speaking and sponsorship offer opportunities to showcase expertise to an audience actively seeking new business partners and to build high-value connections between Ireland and the region. Prospective speakers and sponsors should contact president@irishchamber.hk or Gracie@irishchamber.hk.
Practical platform for regional business connections
By convening companies, chambers and institutions from Ireland and the region, the forum will facilitate introductions and business matching between Irish and local interests. It will also strengthen collaboration among regional Irish Chambers of Commerce and connect Ireland-based organisations with commercial opportunities across the Asia Pacific region.
Ticketing
Tickets cost HK$2,000 and are available now through the Irish Chamber of Commerce of Hong Kong events page.
